HARRAH’S WINS EIGHT MEDALS

Harrah’s has just won eight medals that recognize the company support to the environmental conservation. Those prizes were awarded by the organization Travelife, which is oriented to recognise the labour realized by the companies that contribute to a more sustainable tourism.

The following Harrah’s properties obtained 7 gold medals: Río, Caesars Palace, Bill´s Gambling Saloon, Flamingo, Paris and Bally´s Harrah´s. At the same time, Imperial Palace received a silver medal.

Travelife recognized in that way the efforts realized by Harrah’s, whose constructions try to be as environmental friendly as possible and at the same time are a great impulse for the improvement of the local economy where their game resorts are located.

This gaming company had previously made efforts to contribute to the improvement of the environment. Maybe the best example was the utilization of a poker table made of sustainable materials during the WSOP 2008 final, as we had already commented in the previous entry of this blog.

Congratulations to Harrah’s for their effort to become greener!
